According to the TDK USB Bluetooth adapter website it it not possible to sync your lotus Notes / Outlook over bluetooth with a P800. The P800 manual implies you can - can anyone confirm either way ?
Also what other functionality does Bluetooth allow you - is it exactly the same as connecting via the cradle ?
Thanks
Kamaran

AFAIK, you can do everything via BT that you can with the syncstation except backup/restore and (obviously) charging. I've got the TDK USB BT adaptor and have successfully sync'ed with Outlook using it. You just need to connect the bluetooth serial port through the My Bluetooth Places menu first.
Hope that helps

I use a TDK PC Card to sync my P800 with outlook and have no problems with the syncing process.
As dave_uk said, you first have to connect to the phone through my bluetooth places.

has anyone discovered if ti is possible to connect automatically to the BT serial port when the phone comes into range of the PC? I have got the pc to discover the fone automatically, but i still have to manually connect to serial port.
Cheers
