> Charge P800 in UK
Bookmark topic
Hi all..
Tomorow I'm going to London for a week... I have encoded some music, and put it on my P800.. But then i startet thinkong.. I need to charge the phone while I'm there (I'll be there for 3 days) - and I know that the P800 should hold power for 3 days.. But not if I'm gonna use it a a Mp3-radio!
So bottom line is: Can I use my normal power-cord on average UK hotels instead of those huge UK ones, or should I have some kind of a converter??

The power itself isn't a prob, it handles 100-240V, UK standard is 240V.
My guess is that the Danish sockets are similar to the Swedish ones, two round ones, while UK, afaik, have three square ones for normal sockets and two (square or round, can't remember) for bathrooms.
If you have a shop called Biltema, in Denmark, they have this great worldwide adaptor for approx €6,50

Be careful with your phone in London, one of my mates got mugged last week by a group of guys in broad daylight while he was standing in central London making a call on his P800. They pinned him down, grabbed his phone and ran off.
Seems to be quite a common thing there at the moment ....

you could buy a standard ericsson charger for about 15 pounds or an adapter for a uk socket if you have the two piece charger
