I'm generally very satisfied with it but now I just can't send SMS's to my girlfriend! I dont know if my phone is jealous or something.

No problem sending to any other number, but when her number is there, it doesent happen anything when I press "Send".

I think I've tried everything, taking the battery out when turned on and things like that. I've done several master resets to, and then I could send to her, but when I'm restoring again things are back to "normal".

It's also an other thing that is strange with her number on my phone; when I'm calling her or her calling me her name and picture doesent appear as it used to. As you see this hasn't always been a problem. Been sending her hundreds of SMS's in the past. Just this last week.

I know I can do a master reset and starting all over again with all the settings and everything, but before I do that I just wanted to ask here, if anyone have a better solution for me.

I know I been spending some more time with my girlfriend lately, and I know my P800 has feelings, but I think it has gone a little to far...

So anyone?

Hiya,

check that you dont have her number on your sim card. That was my problem initially, the sim card number overides the phone contacts.

Oh also check that the number doesnt appear elsewhere in the contacts list under a different name etc. It may be easier if you sync with Outlook and check in there.

Z.

It was on my SIM card, and I thought it would help to delete it but it didnt. Did it really help you? Now when I select SIM phone book it says "Reading from SIM" and it never stops reading... Could this be the problem? Maybe the number is still there somehow?

Off course I've deleted the contact and replaced it. Think I've done that a hundred times!

And dump my girlfriend... hmmmmmmmm... I think I'll have to think about that one. Do you know a good replacement?

If you want to check, put the SIM into another phone, preferably a Nokia (no stupid comments please, just that Nokias deal better with SIM contacts than SE phones) and delete everything on the SIM. Might do bugger all but worth a go.
