........u heard me right its dead...it says 'FILE CORRUPT@ and wont come on. its on orange...ive lost all my files and software i paid for....i dunno where to start...im livid!!!!!!!!! ITS DEAD.... IT WONT COME ON...JUST SHOWS THE SONYERICSSON P800 STARTUP SCREEN...IM GONNA DIE...IM BACK TO MY NOKIA 7210....SHIT FCUK!!!!!!!!!
ANY ADVICE? IVE AT LEAST £200 WORTH OF SOFTWARE IN THAT PIECE OF SHIT....MAKES ME SICK WHENEVER I THINK ABOUT IT...IM IN SO MUCH SHOCK I AVENT TOUCHED IT SINCE IT MESSED UP ABOUT A WEEK AGO...ILL TAKE IT TO CAR PHONE WAREHOUSE TODAY...

Besides, you've got copies of all that software on your computer, right? I really can't believe you installed everything, then simply deleted the installers & serials!?? Besides, even if you have most sites allow you to re-download the software upon entering your details, so i can't see any problem there.

Sorry to hear about the phone though, hope a repair centre get it fixed quickly so you can get back to reinstalling everything!

Err, why does the phone come up with SE startup logos ?? If its an Orange phone, the it should have Orange startup logos! Sounds like you've been fiddling to me !

As someone else has said, you'd just be plain stupid to delete the .SIS files for all the osftwre you've bought. Anyway..most software suppliers will provide you with the .SIS files and serials as long as you can prove you've paid for them. Place like Handango allow you to download the .SIS files any time you like.

This has also happened to me twice..
First time i didn't make a backup, so all my contacts and calender notes dissapeared... (damn i was mad)

And the second time was yesterday, and i didn't have a backup there either, because my computer is for repair :-/
But i just turned it of, and left it for a couple of hours.. Then when i got back, i took out the battery and put it in again, and when i turned it on again it worked fine
