When you go to task list and it displays all apps running I have:

EiksrvBackdrop
Applications
Phone
Beamer

I have no idea what EiksrvBackdrop and I cant close it. Do you have the same thing?

It is a file that runs in the background for something to do with the o/s. It's also present in the Nokia 9210 as well.

Leave it well alone ......

im not sure im jus guessing but those programs could be:

eriksrvbackdrop could be software that allows your backdrop (or wallpapers) to be displayed

applications is software that allows your applications to be run

phone allows you to use the phone features

beamer is software that allows you to use wireless connectivity like bluetooth n infrared as they allow you to beam stuff to other fones

all these tasks are hidden n prob required by the o/s. but im jus guessing the above so soz if its not tru

eiksrvbackdrop is part of the Symbian OS framework and is necessary for your P900 to function.

Anyone knows whats appicker and Flipkeypad? I get them on my Task Manager and cant semm to kill them off just like Beamer and EriksrvBackdrop. Thanks

apppicker is the menu screen where you select your aplication (either in balls with icons or a list) and flip keypad is the application which controls the virtual flip.
