> Help with T39mc list display

Hi all,
I've been using my T39 for a while now, and I'm incredibly pleased. However, last week I had to add a long list of new contacts, and I decided to use the feature where I submit several numbers to the same name, in order to save typing.
When I did this, however, my phone decided to chance the way it displays my contact list, even for the contacts I only have one number for. Before I would have, for example
22 Smith home
23 Smith work
Now it reads
22 home, Smith/H
23 work, Smith/H
This is really annoying... I tried changing the sort order, but no effect... Is there any way to chance it, or am I forced to delete all the extra numbers I added?

From the phone, try the following:
Menu
1- Phonebook
8- Options
6- Sort Order
- By last name or By first name
The easiest way by far though to make many changes to the phonebook, is via the PC (and programs like Microsoft Outlook)
My T39m came with software in the box, I assume yours did too, so all you should need is a cable/IR Port/Bluetooth adapter to sync via PC.
Several posts exist within Esato.com to help there if you need help with sync'ing, along with links to updated versions of software.

No, didn't use Outlook. I don't have a bluetooth connection to my computer, or a USB cord. Never felt the need for it, really...
Oh well, I guess I'll send off an email to Ericsson and pray they'll respond...
