Finally got my P800 (Orange) back from Celestica after nearly two weeks to do the Firmware upgrade and guess what!! Its got the same bloody software in it
Must have spent 2 hours argueing over the phone with Celestica, SE & Orange. I don't think I have ever been this pissed off in my life.
Thing is I confirmed exactly what I wanted 2 weeks ago and Celestica said they could put R2D on the Orange brand. As of today, they are saying they can't.
SE (after much talking) have agreed to do the upgrade for me at SE UK head office but I've still got to pay £4.40 insured P&P again.
Somebody wants sacking, tossers.
BE WARNED EVERYONE
Make sure before sending your P800 to Celestica.
Going to go and cool down now, I am so gutted

If you're on orange, take the phone to an orange shop and they'll send it away for you (as long as it's within warranty) and that will save you the moneys. Just make sure you take proof of purchase with you.
