When one goes for a firmware upgrade do all components as in Phone, Bluetooth, Organiser and CDA get updated or does the service centre have a choice to restrict the upgrade to only a few components. I recently got my firmware upgraded but strangely enough the Bluetooth s/w version has remained at R2C. I realise that, that version belongs in the medieval era but that was the original version at the time when I purchased the P800. Though other components have been updated (my second upgrade) the bluetooth remains an enigma. Could someone unravel the mystery for me please? Thank you.

What were the other files upgraded to?
When doing a P800 firmware upgrade with the proper equipment, the service center will pick a firmware package. The package will apply many updates to the phone.
The current package is R2A:
the phone is upgraded to R2D
CDA to R3A/B
Organizer to R2A
Bluetooth to R5A
and a few others.
Many firmware packages will only contain a few updates.
The differences between R1F and R1G were just the Organizer and CDA, I believe. The bluetooth will probably not be upgraded with each sequential firmware package released. The phone stayed the same (R1D) in R1F and R1G.
