> T610 to be released in the US real soon
Bookmark topic
Just talked to SE rep. The rep. said that they will not be doing what they did for P800 i.e. promised a release date and then kept pushing back that date. Apprently the phones have been released or is going to be released to service providers for customizations etc.
So I guess May 12 or whatever could be a global release date.
I have mine pre-ordered on expansys.us

Well I kept pushing SE for a firm date and they said that it was real sooon. That is where the discussion about P800 came up. So I hope the real soon turns out to be mid may.

Well to get that lame response I sent the this :"Why is it that i've heard that Swedish shops are receiving the T610 on May 12th, yet the best date i can get for the UK is sometime in June? Why is it always that the UK must get the phones late, like the P800?" I don't think they like me anymore

@CK_BB
I think Orange UK already have it, and are waiting for a global launch (perhaps?) on May 12. At least I hope so since I have planned to pick mine up on the 17th.

SE are always non-commital - end of q2 is probably best you will get or early quarter 3 but i expect 10 days

Look at it from their perspective - if they give a definite date (a la Neonode) and then break it (a la Neonode), then people will lose faith in the company and go elsewhere (a la Neonode)
