im trying to avoid using joystick when reading txt messages....is it possible for me not to use the joystick when reading txt messages?

yes use the * and (hash) right of 0. sry i have an i mac kbd on my pc and there is no hash!

another alternative is the volume key.. unfortunately.. i believe this is more easily broken than the joystick.. stay with * and #

how come that when i use the # and * while reading txt.....it wont scroll??? and even the number 1....it wont scroll either....and yes when i use the volume control...it scroll but the other guy said it volume control is easy to break
