This renders the built in SMS viewer useless, right?
Is it impossible to built upon that seamlessly, instead of creating a whole new viewer?
Btw, upon uninstall, the autostart part of the program isn't removed, resulting in an Not Found message each time the P800 is booted...

SMS Folder Manager was not designed to replace the built-in SMS service of the P800. The main purpose of it was to provide a missing feature in the P800; that is, Personalized SMS Folders. That alone, BTW, makes it unfeasible to seamlessly integrate it with the built-in service.
We also wanted the application to have lots of added-value, it wasn’t very tangible with the first release (version 1.0), but, we hope, it is now with version 2.0
We understand that some users, would like to see SMS Folder Manager completely replace the built-in service, since it already does almost everything, plus of course the many other things not available in the built-in service; but we can’t really say that this could happen. We can, though, proudly assure you our continuous development and support for this application, and if it happened, at some time, that it had become a complete replacement of the built-it SMS service, then that would be great, and the credit would be to the users, for their great support and feedback.
Thx

Version 2.01 fixes small bug with large message storage.
You will get a delivery report also when you send your messages from SMS Folder Manager.
How about making an auto rule to poll all delivery reports to a dedicated folder in My Folders?
Thx

How about a feature that defers automove besides automoving an sms immediately after receipt? I had to select and move each and every sms I had in the phone after installing the software. I'm aware this is a one time thing but another reason to do this is because when I receive an sms the tone and vibration are interrupted, leaving me unaware that I received a message. At least I won't have to open the flip everytime an automove has been performed when a particular contact sends a message. Thanks!

We do our best to interact with end users at many forums (and as far as I know other companies do not do this). I appologies, though, for not paying 100% attention to your posts.
SMS Folder Manager is NOT a stand alone application. It uses the built-in sms service of the phone. When you set,for example, the phone to get a delivery report, you will get it anyway.
Thanks
