If it's any help for those without R2D and using a network such as Orange in the UK, if you type the words RCT (short for receipt of course) at the beginning of the message you get a delivery report! This maybe common knowledge but I've not seen anyone mention it recently.

Regards

Richard.

Does work for me - Do you type this at the beginning of the message body or the subject line?

Even if you had set delivery reports to 'on' with your T68i on the O2 network, you would not have received a delivery report.

On O2-UK you need to type *0# at the start of the message to get a delivery report.

Example:

*0#Hello there to all Esato members

a tip would be to set this up as a template and write all new sms from said template.

Type it in the body of the message and not the subject field, like this....

"RCTHello Fred, how are you?"

Definitely works on Orange in the UK for those without R2D. Save it as a template if typing it everytime is a nuisance.
