I have the R2F firmware I tried the "Night mode" in the cam app but the photos look the same when this mode on or off, is it correct to be like this or something wrong ?!!

I find Night Mode particularly tricky to use, you really need to use a tripod so that your results are not blurred. Its pretty redundent compared to the results you get with the other modes, IMO.

the p900 is SOOOOO bad in the dark just dont bother- i hate to say it but the nokia's are kick ass at night mode expecialy with the vids - sorry i will spank myself for saying nokia

you can't really expect to get anything good with poor lighting (where all the action is) on phone cams. "night mode" tries to enhance the images by increasing the "exposure" of each pixel so you'll hopefully get brighter picture (not better quality) and you need to be really steady with your hand. if you intend to buy a tripod for your K700i, buy a handy dandy spotlight as well
