I thought this post should go in the "P800" section rather than "Accesories" because it is P800 specific. Also, before I get flamed, I did a few searches and didnt't find any similar posts (actually there doesnt really seem to be too much about the operations of the HPR-20, just a lot of people asking when its coming, and lots saying they have one or want one)

I had an updated T68m and an HPR-11. I used the radio for almost a year before I got my hands on the HPR-20. It is obviously a lot better but I found that in a few areas around town, the reception wasn't great. As I was walking I used to get a bit of fuzz or stereo dropout at Uni or in town. I got my P800 a week ago (WOO HOO! ) and I've used it with my HPR-20 quite a few times since. Is it my imagination or does the HPR-20 get better reception with the P800? Could it be because the P800 has a higher current battery? More metal in the P800 acts as a bigger antenna? (Theses are just wild guesses really)

Any ideas?

I also have the radio but I experience some bad reception on mine
As far as I know it is the cord of the handsfree that akts as the antenna and hence the phone shoulnt do any difference.

I use a p800 with the HPR-20 and the reception I have to say (Here in North London anyway) isnt all that great at all. There are big gaping sections as you are walking along where you get no signal at all. A little disappointed with it.

While you're on the subject of the HPR-20 can you tell us how it works with the P800?

Can you listen to MP3s through it if you turm off the radio?

I'm thinking of buying one and it would be great if it could replace the other headphones altogether.

Sorry if the questions been asked before.

Unfortunately not. You cannot listen to the MP3 player either whilst the radio is on or off. Looks like its not going to replace those headphones all together yet!

Having said that, the voice dialling works better on it than the other headphones.
