The P800 supports 16 tone polyphonic ringtones, but can also play WAV files as ringtones, so you could actually have real music as your ringtone.

The screen is 4096 colours and reflective which makes it easier to see in the daytime sunlight.

VGA technically stands for Visual Graphics Array, but in the context of these mobile phone screens it is generally used to mean a resolution of 640X480.

actually, the P800 supports 24 polyphonic channels, and it uses a software based midi engine (beatnik), so it could, if SE wanted, be upgraded in a future firmware release to support even more polyhonic channels.

the screen is a anti-reflective and anti-glare treated 12-bit (4096 colors) TFT screen (which means its not a problem to use it on sunny days, compared to for example the T610's STN display)

Hi guys. I read that it was actually 40 bit polyphonics, and it is quite beliveable since it has distinct simulated bass, which NO other mobile supports at the moment. But you're absolutely right about the non-reflective nature of the screen.

there's a big difference between "bit" and "layers".

P800 is 16-layer polyphony.
