For some reason all the contacts in my phone now appear twice
is the a way to stop this and get it back to normal?

Haven't you copied all the numbers to your SIM?

I have a semi-related problem... Not to hijack your thread but I hate starting new topics when its not completely necessary.

I have the same number for several people in my contacts list...like 4 people that all live together so their home phone is the same. When I make a call to that phone instead of putting the name of the person I'm calling (or did call) on the screen, it puts the first person in alphabetical order with that number in their profile.

Any ideas as to how to alleviate this problem?

Thanks.

Even thou all his contacts also are in the SIM, the P800 can only display one of the contacts list at the same time (either SIM or Contacts in the Phone memory) - So this shouldnt be the problem.

Have you sync'ed lately? maybe something wrong happened there..

Well, it might.. i got that problem cause Outlook XP was set to list the names with the last names first - and automaticly did this to all my imported contacts, and transferred them back to the phone as new contacts..

So if i had a contact named:

Joe Blue

i'd also get a contact named:

Blue, Joe
