100m

100m as there's only a ~30% price difference

Doesn't the phone need to have 100m range BT also? Even if adaptor can send data to 100m, and phone is able recieve it, it won't be able to respond back to adaptor (10m range). Am i right or what?

mkt: you're right.

The phone will be albe to detect the PC adapter, but they won't be able to communicate unless they're within the phone's reach (10m)

In theory it should be somewhere in between (under ideal conditions). However in practise since you rarely get the quoted distance anyway you probably will only get sensible communication at up to 10m away from the 100m adaptor.

At 10m you have a two way communication(you can send and receive from your t68i). At 100m you have one way communication(you can only receive from your t68i).

One way communication? Not sure how that would work. Surely you have to have two-way communication in the first place before a file is sent? I know my t68 and bluetooth dongled pc won't send anything unless they know the bluetooth address to send to (and that it's active) - that requires two-way communication!

10m.

It might be worth investing in a long rage Bluetooth dongle though, you never know, the next line-up of SE phones coming next year might be 100m range !

Lets hope so anyway !
