> T610 firmware upgrade possibilities?

Any techies out there who can answer this for me? Living in N. America, a new 850 Mhz band is being added to improve indoor reception on the Rogers AT&T network. Will a firmware upgrade be able to adjust a T610 to a T616 PS---any release dates for the 616, anyone?
I'm soooo tempted to pick up a 610 to replace my 68i...I can't stand the crappy 68i reception

i had not seen your post, so i asked the same question a couple days ago. I received an answer stating that there is no firmware to upgrade the T610 to a T616.
I first owned the T610, now I use a T616, but I don't see any improvement in terms of reception, here in South Florida
Even near a tower, I cannot get the full 5 bar reception indicator, three bars at most.
