i have a t68i from at&t i quit my service, i want to know if i can use my phone with other providers. and with my phone not activated i get better signal @ home than i did with the phone activated. if you have any info it would help! thanks

Technically speaking, any GSM phone can be "unlocked" in order to receive SIM cards from different providers. So to answer question yes you can do that. The problem comes when u said you had service from AT&T....they are notorious for not giving the codes or being difficult to unlock. What you can try is asking someone who runs business of unlocking cells such as
www.unlockcell.com.
