> Siemens SX1 delayed - go for T610

Hi everyone! I just spoke to Siemens helpdesk. Thay told me the SX1 is much delayed and will not be released until late atumn - they guessed november. So you might as well go for the T610. I would also think SE will have something very nice instead of the P800 around that time. This is actually what i expected when i first saw the SX1. Siemens probably just presented it to confuse people about buying a nice phone from another manufacturer. S: T610 here i come!!!!!!

Hmm... I would go for the t610 then :-) But at the time they release the siemens the p800 should be less expensive also...

Problem with SE phones :
Poor customer support - with firmware upgrades they dont even inform owners on new changes and such.
At least with Siemens, users are able to download the upgrade via the internet and upgrade it by themselves.
I'd rather wait for the SX-1.

I also can't wait for SX1 anymore. It should be a nice phone. They have good quality phones. Since it is using Symbian and Nokia interface, it should be the best out there when it comes out. Very easy to upgrade. Excellent firmware support. For example, S55 is already at it 12th rev. The problem with Siemens is they are VERY slow when coming out with new products. I was about to buy the S55 when T610 came out. When SX1 is ready to come out, SE will have the next generation of P800? This is going to kill Siemens.

I think it is superior to T610 in nearly everyway.
As for the release date in November, I find this hard to believe. Siemens do not have an official launch date yet, but I'd be very surprised if wasn't out by the end of the summer.
