Is this a must have application for the p800?
Is it worth the money?

In my opinion, it is a very useful app and makes the free file manager app pretty much redundant as tracker does the same and more! The question is am I (or any of you guys) willing to pay the money for it?

Apart from the closing program facility and file manager (which you can get for free else where) the only thing that makes this special is having all your program shortcuts on the same page. But with the shortcuts on top and up to 14 shortcuts being displayed when you open the flip normally, do you really need more than 80 spaces for shortcuts.

I think I have just talked my self out of buying it

personally, i think tracker is an excellent app for the P800.
it gives me a pseudo-desktop when i open the flip and gives me
access to all my apps on the same screen.
definitely worth it!!

Hi,
I think its well worth the money, closing programs via a hot button and
shortcuts to bluetooth settings are just examples of what I find really useful.

I would like to be able to customise the desktop icons too, but I can live without it, and we have seen good features being added already...

I guess the desktop customisation was one thing I missed on the P800.

Like many P800 users i stopped using my phone in the "flip removed" mode because of the fact you had to enable the virtual keyboard using that awkward little square which i found hard to do onehanded & time consuming, so as i already have "file manager" ETC it seems that the screen locking system in "flip removed" mode is Trackers best feature to me.
However, i will not pay for apps however good they are as it will always turn up for free somewhere soon & phones are often not owned for long by me (usually a year tops) before they are replaced by something which often has the most usefull apps built in.

Handy Day for me at the moment as it gives enough quick icons for me & I really Like/need the quick view of my Agenda/Task list & messages. Also like how memory info takes up little room with small bars (but needs 3rd bar to show Used Ram aswell as storage memory)

Tracker Is defenitly the best application for the P800 so far.
I have so many applications on my P800 so tracker is a need for me. I can see all the application without scrolling. The day view is excelent for me I can see my new sms and mms in here and my to do list. The P800 wont be the same phone without the P800 And those nice backgrounds van Mnis make it ever an nicer application.

I think you meant, "the P800 wouldn't be the same without Tracker"....

Anyways, I agree. I love Tracker. I don't quite get why it doesn't autostart, and why it closes down by itself after a period of inactivity. Thats a bit annoying. And I don't really use the Today screen at all. I have few appointments and I know when I get a SMS/email as I get a pop-up telling me, so I read it right away and never have unread messages. Also its quite slow.

But for the applications its great, easy access, but probably the best things are the clock on the main screen and something that looks like a computer desktop, which is great.

Has anyone noticed the problem with using 24-hour time? The time and date overlap on the screen. This should be addressed in the next version. Has SymbianWare been notified of this problem?
