i recently took pics with my P800, and my friend took the same pics on his 7650.... but i dont know why and how can my P800 betray me... after spending a fortune on it, it cannot even be better than a nokia??? the picture quality was shittty... i mean like, it was is the picture had bad resolution, even though it was on 640x480 plus the colours were not so good at all... and now i just have to handle the humiliation and the embarrassment, to a 7650.....

help me get over this, and not to see this again!!!!

well where was the pic taken??? Outdoor picture in day light, can be really bad if the settings are not well done.
u must put the correct settings for the camera...add some contrast/brithness/etc...Play with it till u get a better resolution. and not to forget that, u must choose high quality as well

it does take shitty pictures when viewed on the phone compared to the 7650 ... but when transfered to ur pc , the p800's pic would look better than the 7650s.

Play a video. Browse a few web pages. Play a mp3 or two.. Play strategic assault.
Complain about his tiny screen. Lack of touchscreen.
Send all your contacts to him at once...

Either way. They both suck as cameras..

The Nokia 7650's screen is definately much better than the P800's! Its brighter and images are displayed a lot more clearly (eg. there's no pixelation with the images like u get with the P800 - u can see whole blocks of one colour on the P800 - this doesnt happen with the 7650).
This is because the 7650 uses different screen technology compared with the P800. All the colours are much richer on the 7650 - the red is a nice full red and the white especially is a bright clear white.
The P800 has a "washed out" look to its colours because of the type of screen it uses - this type of screen is A LOT more effficient with battery power so is definately worth the 'slight' loss of colour quality (the 7650's battery dies so fast compared to the P800)

HOWEVER...

That's where it ends! The P800 p**ses over the 7650 in everthing else - the P800 has a much bigger screen, it's touchscreen!, it has more fucntions, camera is equally as good (even though the P800 may look as if the camera is worse quality fit isn't - just the way it displays the images - if u send a pic taken by a P800 to a 7650 the 7650 will display it looking a lot richer and not so pixelated).

I love my P800 dont get me wrong - the only thing my 7650 had over it was the screen quality - but then whats the point on having a nice screen if u can only see it for a few hours while the battery lasts!!

P800 rulez!

ok...here is the correct solution.
P800 has a better resolution even on screen as compared to nokia 7650 once u have updated your p800 with the Image fix software (only 5kb)that was launched recently.
I have tested and verified this pre and post the fix.....
Now all my friends who own p800 are jumping all around showing there collection on fulscreen with this developement...

Hey Deepak, where can I get a description of each of the freeware programs on the link you provided - so that I can know what the program is before I decide to download and try. Cheers.
