just got the p800...i cant figure oit how to enable the SMS delivery conformation option, it was there in t68i, im hoping its there in this ...can any1 tell me how to enable it
also how to change the sms sound notification?

It's not there. Only available in the upgraded firmware - version R2D.

looks like sony ericsson keep 1 feature in t68 and the other in p800,
is it possible to get the standard nokia SMS notification for p800

Get the software update. That will give you SMS delivery notification.
If you want the Nokia midi files for SMS alerts, do a quick search. They're available from several sites.

I went to the authorized Sony Ericsson dealer to get the firmware upgrade. They said it takes 3 hours for the upgrade. Is that true? I didn't wait because it sounded pretty rediculously long and wanted to confirm on the forum first.

Yeah it can take that long think. Gonna get mine upgraded ASAP! In the meantime if you're on Orange UK put 'RCT' at beginning of SMS it sends you a report back ~Eva

my local SC keeps the fone for 24hours if u want an upgrade, it just varies from place to place, i know some centres will do it while u wait, but i've heard that even then it takes about 40mins
