well I learn something new every day and that makes me feel alive...

I thougth it was a silly thing to let all Ericsson phone owners generate progits for the SPs for updating software if you "could do it youself" over the rs cable. Okay, I did not think about the fact that you can easily unlook a phone that has been stoolen by just putting in the new software... now I know that this is the background to all the security to update a phone. You need a hardlock, a smart card and a pin code just to get access to the officialy released sw. But that is not all...the EMMA server will make the final decision on if the phone connected to cable should be upgraded or not. Maybe this is a problem for my own theory that the new sw will be available globaly at the same time.

We will get the new (original) sw eventually!!!

and for free of course..

Just checked out the emma II, server. When you check it wapmanse, you are being redirected to "skanska telecenter" if im not wrong
And still no sign of nothing but R2B from 20020212, but the day is young

as I live in toronto and dont have any upgrade service point for T68.
I always wanna find a way to upgrade it thu the internet. or like thu bluetooth phone to phone.

The phone have to be turned off to be flashed, so i think you can forget the bluetooth
