All,

I have had my P800 for 5 days, and have only managed to connect to the GPRS service (Orange UK) 2 or 3 times. Please could someone help me with the following problems/queries:

1 - how long does it take for the GPRS signal to appear once you turn on your handset? Mine takes a few minutes, in fact, sometimes it only appears when I try to connect to the internet, and disappears again. Normally, I get a login failed message. Orange have re-sent me the settings, but it does not make any difference.
2 - So far, I have only managed to connect using the Orange GPRS connection, never using the Orange GRPS WAP connection. Any ideas why?
3 - Is the browser provided with the P800 used for browsing both HTML and WAP sites?

Please help!

Thanks.

I have Orange UK with my P800 as well with GPRS.

The GPRS logs in immediately upon turning the phone on, and stays on. When trying to log into the Internet or anything, GPRS connects immediately and works fine.

Only problem I have had with GPRS is when sending a picture message, and thats only occasionally, so it sounds like you might need to get your P800 looked at by a service centre.

@saquib - This happened to me when I first got my p800, you need to set the GPRS Timeout to \"Never\" in Control Panel > Internet Accounts > Other. If this doesn't work you could have a problem and best off contacting Orange. ~Eva This message was posted from a P800
