Hi,

I am using a Mitsumi dongle and all the above works without a hitch except for DUN cos I don't need it thus did not try it out. Could it be 3com drivers or is there a limitation to the 3com's Bluetooth profile?

well, we have posted it before that the 3COM drivers is not capable of receiving files from SE phones. It hasn't changed.

@ P800_Zen_master

I had the same problems, took me a while to get it to work.. now everything works fine.. my PC card is a newer version though.. on the card itself it says Version 3.0 and this is the model number 3CRWB6096B.. they have just added a "B" to the model number..

my laptop didn't recognize the card most of the time.. and when it did recognize it.. most of the services don't work..

This is what I have done.. In the device manager I've played around with the resources settings.. I've disabled automatic settings and change the IRQ and I/O Range Manually.. although it showed no conflicts on the automatic settings changing the default settings got it working fine for me.. I hope this works for you as well.. good luck

@jbendaou

it's Windows Device Manager

in windows XP:

Start --> Control Panel --> System

Hardware --> Device Manager

+3Com --> right click on "3Com Bluetooth PC card"

choose properties --> Resources

Uncheck "Use automatic settings"

Highlight "I/O Range" --> click "Change settings"

now try to find different values that does not conflict with any other device.. Although the automatic settings didn't conflict with any other device it did not seem to work correctly.. then do the same thing for "IRQ" and change the settings there as well.. This has worked for me on a Dell laptop.. it does not mean that it will work for you as well.. but I hope it does

good luck
