I am planing to buy a p800 but i am alittle worried. I think that this phone is what i want (mp3,mms,etc) but i always hear tha it has bugs (applications get lost, connection to the pc with usb cable makes ages etc). So is p800 really that unstable?

Nope, you get the odd crash every now and then but I would not call it buggy.

well ive had no problems with it stability to speak of.. every now and again i have to do a soft reboot (ie hold the off key for 10 secs) but very rarely and it isnt a major problem. im very happy with my p800.. i had far more problems with my T68 to be honest.

don't listen to them it's rubbish, mine crashed 15 times in one month.

it's not worth the money and remember if you want to listen to mp3's your gonna need to buy a 128meg pc duo stick to get any decent amount on it, £100 extra.

buy it if your rich and wanna blow some money or if you really want the pda thing get the latest ipaq and a free t68i

(got rid of the p800 at last and happy with my new samsung v200, even if it hasn't got a flashy organiser)

exactly it crashes, why don't you tell him about the apps on the phones that run in the background even when you've closed them and use up all the memory, i'm sure he'd love that.

then think to yourself, do i really want a bulky phone that i have to be really carefull with, that costs loads of money and that i have to upgrade the software on every month.

I currently have a P800 myself, and i am considering selling it, as i just dont need all the things it offers.. and the sucky DUO format annoys me (not that its sucky, but its so frigging expensive and impossible to get 128MSD's). I'm actually looking into the Samsung SGH-V200 myself.. very stylish phone indeed, but i've read that it has a really crappy battery (i've heard about 90 minutes talktime?!!?). And the V200 aint available here in Norway yet, its supposed to be launched sometime in May, so its just around the corner i guess.. Other than that, i might go for the T610.
