Hey

Ok, this may seem like a stupid question, but still.
I have a HP 990cxi printer, which has an IR bit on it. Would it be possible to use this in conjunction with my T300? As in to print, and also to send tones, pictures, and themes? If so how? Or do i have to by a IR cable for my computer? - If so, does anyone know of a good, reliable site that ships to UK, with good prices?

TIA

you can send images and contacts to the printer via IR so you get them on paper, but you can't use the IR on your printer to connect your phone to the computer

no software needed.... align the IR ports in front of eachother, and just select an image/contact on you phone and choose to send it via IR, the image/contact will be sent to the printer and printed

It didn't mess up the first time. When you send something to the printer, the program you are using(Word/Photoshop/whatever), and/or the OS will send some "control characters" to the printer first, to set up the printer properly. When you are sending regular text, it will always work because no special printer setup is needed, really. When it's picture, printer setup is important. In your case, after you printed the contact, probably the printer did an auto reset or something.

Example of control setup for a HP laserjet
============
%-12345X@PJL JOB NAME="XXXXXXX"
@PJL SET RET=ON
@PJL SET DUPLEX=OFF
@PJL SET ECONOMODE=OFF
@PJL SET OUTBIN=UPPER
@PJL SET FINISH=NONE
@PJL SET PAGEPROTECT=AUTO
@PJL SET PAPER=LETTER
@PJL SET HOLD=OFF
@PJL SET RESOLUTION=300
@PJL ENTER LANGUAGE=PCL

@ESTOR - Your right, it did flash up with something like that, it all makes sense now, thanx!

@Elmz - ummmm....read above, havent they already answered? If its compatible with the T300 then it will most definitely be compatible with the T68i aswel.
