sure it's not red fluff, from trousers or case or something, don't know if there are any steel components in the T68, when I go through the metal detector at work(I work at an airport) it doesn't go off when my T68's in my pocket.

No man!! Do you bring it with you in the shower?

But there is surely a chance that the metalmaterial around the display are able to rust. Is there no way that you are able to "clean" it away?
Perhaps this can be a really big problem we all T68owners stands for!?

Steel rusts, and it goes red. Aluminium corrodes and it goes white and powdery with black under the powder. Stainless steel tarnishes, and it goes black, what colour is the crap on your joystick? Did you spill something on it?

Does it look like it's coming out of the gap between the joystick and the phone, wipe it all away and watch for when it comes back and try and see where it's coming from. Is your joystick count quite high? That might have something to do with it.

It's probably the case fitting to close to the joystick, and they're rubbing together, that would cause the black crap
