not sure I understand what you're trying to achieve mate...

my sim has absolutely no contacts on it, and unless you're planning on using a different phone on a regular basis with the same sim card, this is what I'd recommend.

Store all of your contacts on the phone and keep it in tune with outlook. Sorted.

I was looking for that aswell, since I did this with my T68 to transfer my SIM data to my car SIM. But with the P800 this is NOT possible, nowhere there is an option like the T68

You know i was trying to figure out if it is posible to store contacts by directly keying in the phone keypad. If you have 100 in the phone memory and you want to stoqe only 10 into the sim memory it will be very tedious to copy all to sim and then selectively erase the other 90 contacts yov do not want on the sim. :-) This message was posted from a T68i

if you used to have a t39 then could be a little bit easier, the t39 comes with an application Ericsson phone book and text message manager that allows you to edit the sim and export your contacts from outlook to the sim. i am not aware if that works with the t68!

So there is no software that can copy contacts from P900 to sim card? Is there any other way to do this?

thanks,

@mrlover, P900 is easy,
When i want to send a "Phone" contact to "Sim" , i open the flip, tap "Contacts", then i tap on the contact i want to move, then tap "edit" then tap on "Copy to SIM card".

I think this thread is asking about phones OTHER than P900.
