Here is a german preview about a bluetooth gps module from tomtom it should come in stores in june. Hopefully the p800 sw will be ready too at that time.

should allow the p800 to talk to it, and receive location details ( i assume you're familiar with GPS ).
Thus it would let us add map software to give us our precise location, useful for navigation and route planning.

It's a brilliant idea, that I agree. But the price on a GPS system is often very expensive. And then you pay for getting new maps etc.
I hope this will be a bit more cheap, because then I will be able to afford it.

Tomtom is a big navigation supplier for handheld devices.
Maps, routing etc. look on there site for some info. These guys are rewarded more than once for there great sw.

Be carefull not to buy just yet!?! as I did - the maps don't work on the P800. I am told by the tech. dept. that they are working on it.

WOW, I can't hardly wait. At this moment I am using my IPAQ H3970 together with the Fortuna Bluetooth GPS receiver. I have installed TomTom Navigator 2 and it is perfect.
I will definitely use my P800 more if two important conditions were met. A fantastic PIM application like Agenda Fusion/Pocket Informant and Route Navigation available for the P800.
