Hey, is anyone else seeing this issue
Up until last night, I had no problem connecting the P800 to my dekstop or laptop PCs to sync with Outlook, use SE Image Editor, PCSuite P800, PC File Manager or RemoteP800. then all of the sudden, I could no longer see the P800 from these applications?
Under Phone Connection Link, the P800 shows as connected via USB Cable using COM5.
At one point tonight, messing around, rebooting etc, I was able to connect with the P800 briefly. I furiously tried to do a backup but at the end of the backup when the P800 prompts you to turn it on, the backup program on the PC fails.
I am wondering if any of the trial software I have put on the P800 is conflicting with the communication in any way. I have started to remove some of the software and reboot the P800 - trying anything at this point. In fact, I am about to do a Master Rest. I've never done it, but it sounds like I'll have quite a bit of resetting of things to do.
Thoughts anyone? Thanks,
Jim

I had this problem since day one and I still do, and I have a sneaky suspision that this is why my bluetooth connection times out too.

Try switching off Norton or any antivirus software and firewalls, then leave it for 30 seconds and it should work.
Well it did for me, took me 6 hours of getting very pissed off to work out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the risk of getting us all off on a wild-goose chase, I've had exactly the same experience.
My problems started when I reached the 30-day limit on Handyday. I've now turned it off, though not uninstalled it, and it seems to have resolved the problem.
Could be coincidence. Anyone smart enough to know?
