the fools at celistica have had my p800 for 3 weeks for the r2d upgrad i recived it to day all excited and guess what no upgrade has any one else in the uk had this problem as i am considering going to the bbc watch dog as i have ad enoghht of Se btw celecticas excue was that it would "invalid my warranty" how crap is that

Im waiting for them to deliver mine back, its only been a week so far.
If they havent updated the firmware ill bust their onions

lol i sent mine 2 weeks ago i had a letter a week later saying i was careless because i sent my sim card with my phone but it was my duo

(didnt know if they might if needed it) and they said it was in for repair but the letter i sent with the phone stated in bold i wanted the r2d firmware upgrade how thick can these people be. they take my money and they leave me in the lurch i dont think so!!!! there crap u have to wait for about 1 hr to speak to the service guys even thought they are used by se a international company

I had the same problem with them upgrading the firmware in my Nokia 9210. Wrong upgrade and it took ages. No support when calling.
They are an UTTER PILE OF CRAP
I live in Aberdeen, and it looks like I will have to drive to Glasgow to get my P800 upgraded. It may be a 350 mile round trip but I'd rather do that than send them another phone to wreck.

I thought CPW service centre does it overnight? I use to flashed my T68 them with no problem at well. Usually overnight service when they are not busy. By the way, what is this Celestica anyway?

Its a SE repair depo, aparently they used to be NEC. CPW do offer the firmware upgrade but I was mis-advised. My sister branch has an onsite engineer but at the time he couldnt do it, he can now though. I had already sent mine away so I was too late.
By the sounds of it by the time it comes back the SE 3G handset will be available.

They should provide a good service taking into account that they're the SE repair depo! How could this be? For me, CPW is always the star in software upgrades. From my experience, they're very efficient and has a short turn around time to get the job done. *This does not applies to the City branch though as the staffs there are very very ignorant!
