Hi,
I use a .mac email account and I have a GRPS plan, everything works on the t68i execpt that I cannot connect to the email via GRPS, my current settings are as follows

Connect using: WAP on GRPS
Protocaol: IMAP4 (I tried pop3 too)
Inc. server: mail.mac.com
Incoming port: 143
Mailbox: my username
Password: xxxxx
Outgoing server: smtp.mac.com
Outgoing port: 25
Email address: xyz@mac.com
Download: headers only

I have tried tons of options, but I simply cannot connect, i get the message 'cannot connect to server' even if my grps is on and i can surf the internet fine from the phone.
If someone is able to use the .mac email from the t68i or use it from singel in Singapore please do tell me how!!!

.mac is IMAP only service. But it is seems, that you try to connect to this server by wap gprs settings. You need standard gprs internet setup to send and receive e-mails from your T68. This message was posted from a P800

It is true I am using the wap on grps settings, but I am quite shaky how to apply or make new grps settings, i tried to get new settings from the sony ericsson and singtel once earlier, and all it managed to do was send me 5 new settings that totally muddled up the phone, and i had to talk to the customer service on the phone for half and hour and restore the settings, still, they didnt have a clue about what i was speaking . .mac?? huh ?? email??? yah I can access it via the service providers login page but i want it to be directly accessed by the phone! My mission now is to set up the internet only grps settings! One step at a time! thanks for the help arthur, if u can give more details or a url where i can, would be great!

ther is 3 things i dislike :
1 the colors too little compare nowdays phone
2 the reaction too slow i wonder how SE programers
3 the memory n all the rubbish thing inside it
n hopefully the sound is good better than any nokia phone like 3650

u can directly go to se website for u singtel setting i have try it:)
