Hi Again,
Just wanted to share some information I had from both Orange and SE today as I was disappointed to see that my new phone runs R1D...
Orange said:
"Orange does not currently endorse any software or firmware upgrades for the P800. Orange has not tested these updates yet. In the past software updates have been known to permanently damage the phone's function. It is entirely you decision as to whether you do upgrade your phone or not. However, it may effect the phones warranty. If you do want to upgrade your phone you will need to contact SonyEricsson directly. SonyEricsson will be able to advise you where you can obtain the update from."
My first question is has anyone gone ahead and done this upgrade on Orange in the UK?
Secondly, SE gave me a list of places to get it done in London which all seem way out of town - can anyone suggest a central workshop please??
