The T68 will scale the image to fit it's screen.

sure. You can see larger and better-quallity pics you taken with your MCA-20/25 on your T68i. The T68i screen just isnt good enough to see the full quality of the foto.
When you send a GIF file to the T68i from the T610 with larger demensions it will be viewable from the T68i. Just be sure that the image-format can be seen with the T68i. (ea GIF)
I dont think he will convert a JPeG to a GIF file

Hmmm...I have a friend of mine who has a GD87...when he sent a picture taken with his camera by ir, the picture on my T68 was really small

....could barely tell what the picture was!

@ Da_WiZ
The problem, and the reason for the small picture on the T68 display is that the T68 has 101x80 pixels (WxH), while the Panasonic GD87 has something like 144x170 (WxH). I'm not 100% sure on the exact resolution on the GD87, but the exact pixels isn't important for this explaination.
The T68 will scale the images that are sent to it. It will also retain the aspect ratio of the image, which means that it has to scale the height of the picture taken by the GD87 from 170 to 80 pixels. To retain the aspect ratio of the image the width would be scaled the same amount and you'll get a width of 67 pixels. Which means that the image will be 67x80 pixels (WxH).
The same problem will most likely appear when you transfer an image from the T610 since it uses a 120x160 pixels or 288x352 with a high-res camera pic. The pics from the T610 will be 60x80 (or 65x80 with the high-res pic).
