> Help to port Mind mapping to the P800
Bookmark topic
As a big user of mind mapping software on the PC I am keen to be able to use it on the move using my P800.
The best product on the market is MindManager from
www.mindjet.com (which has links to several local sites around the world).
I have been writing to Mindjet (as they also have a mobile version of the software for the handheld PC) to discover if they have any plans for the software running on Symbian and the P800 in particular.
My contact is Abdul Rohman. If you would like to see the software on your P800 as a "killer app" please email him at
info@mindjet.co.uk.
Thanks
Stephen

What is so great with this app so that they should port it to the P800? I didn't find anything interresting about it on their site. Can you tell me why I should want this, please?

Assuming that the concept of mind mapping (as an efficient way to capture and organise ideas and other information) is familiar to you the specific benefits of the software relate to the various ways in which you can automatically and easily export your ideas into different formats. These include:-
Word
Excel
Microsoft Project
HTML (i.e. it creates a website)
PowerPoint
Bitmap
This means that you can be working on the move, creating welll structured mindmaps, and then when you are back at your PC you can quickly use your work in an office environment. So anyone who has to plan, design, create, report or sell will find this a very powerful i.e. killer application on the P800.

Stephen
