Does anyone know how to unlock a phone. A friend purchased a 8390 and i swaped my T68 for a day, but when I put my sim card in, it said phone locked.

How do i unlock it? Is there a web site that can tell you how to unlock the phone

why not ask your friend what he did if it's sim locked, use your friends sim card to enter the phone menus to remove the lock.

if it is the phonelock code it asks for, try enter 0000 as the code (this is the default code)...

i'm sure he was talking about a sim-lock,

you can remove it with a data cable and the proper software (havent done it on the nokia models with the cable-connector behind the battery (8210, 8310/90 etc) before, but it should work

The phone lock is only activated after you key in the SIM lock. So if you don't know the pass for the SIM, you don't see the phone lock menu.

But perhaps your friend just put phone lock on, without entering a password

then the pass would be a 0000 by default.

If it's the SIMlock, then you gotta ask him or contact your network.

I can provide you NSC, NSCK etc. codes for all versions of t68 and t68i for a small fee but you have to show me proof that you legitimately own the phone. I am from the Philippines. I do not do remote unlocking. I do not do stolen phones. Interested parties can get intouch with me at opent68@yahoo.com

Will the NSC and NSCK codes unlock my phone? I have a T310 locked under Sun Cellular. The network sucks so I want to be able to use other network operator and maximize my phone. Please email me at eegelsaye@yahoo.

tsk, tsk...
At Esato we don't like much to talk about unlocking. And i'm sure the mods will do something about this thread.
