> TVery annoying T39M bugs with software R3B006
Bookmark topic
In vain attempts by my service providor to resolve faults, I have had so many replacement T39m handsets and software upgrades over the last year that I have now lost count! I have had my current handset, with software version R3B006 for about six months now, having tried to live with the faults that still exist, but am losing patience now!
Before I go back to them one more time, please can I ask if the following are recognized faults, or if I am just unlucky. With great respect for advice given, I don't want yet another software upgrade 'just in case' or 'because its the latest', please: I really want to *know* it's going to solve the problems!
None of the faults have a pattern of usage that I have been able to establish. They all happen 'at random':
1) Keypad ceases to work, including the power switch.
'Solution' is to remove and replace the battery.
2) Handset appears to dial (displays says 'dialling') but nothing
actually happens. After a long silent pause, a three-tone
de dee deee with rising pitch happens. 'Solution' is to reboot.
Phone works for between a few minutes and a few hours, then the
fault returns.
3) Call divert is set 'On busy' and 'No signal', but even when the
signal strength is 'full', calls are often diverted to voicemail
without the phone ringing. Rebooting solves the problem.
4) Oh yes, I have the famous corrupt display during a call too, but I
can live with that.
I pray I can get at least the first three problems fixed.
There's a great phone trying to happen, but it's on the point of being
thrown in the bin at the moment!
Many grateful thanks for any known solutions.

Sounds like it also could be ur provider and the net. I have experienced all the same except for the key thing all i did was to change provider. If u can test that... Hope u solve it.
