I've also heard that it's possible to upgrade the phone by yourself, is this true or is it just a rumour?
If it is possible, how and where do I get the software?

R2F is just a bugfix nothing new no neew stuf in it!!
And its not possible to upgrade urself (yet)

The US firmware R2B comes with the phone R2D
The European firmware R2B comes with the phone R2F
