I would like to ask you all, do you all have these problems.

1.
When I was charging my T610,
the phone screen firstly showed the battery indicator.
However, at the same time, any movement in the battery indicator made an obvious fresh to the screen.

2.
After sometime, the indicator disappears and the screen becomes very dark. However, my T610 has a constant dim bar in the middle of the screen, which do not move itself. It is very dim and we need to see very clearly to see it. I afraid it will "burn" the screen and make some stamp on the same place.

Do you all have these problems?
Thanks.

When recharging with the power off I get the same bar.. I think its the screensaver clock that is supposed to be there but its just empty.
However, the bar randomly moves around afther a while.

While the phone is active, the screensaver clock is usless if you set the backlight to automatic, its way to dark to see the digits clearly.

Hi CentralUnit,

Thanks a lot for your reply.
How long will the bar move once?
What's your T610's software version?

Sadly, the bar on my T610's screen does not move in the charging...... I'm worried about the "burn" of the LCD points......

Thanks

I don't think this type of screen suffers from burn like a crt screen does.

The screensaver clock sounds like the one on the nokia 7650 which moves around every minute or so and is only readable with the light behind you, a following wind, a bit of luck and you've gotta be going downhill.

Maybe se will fix the 610 screensaver clock to make it move in the next firmware update...

@djk

I don't see a bar in the screen when charging with backlight off, I only see the digi clock...

well, charging with backlight on, I see the screen pulses, but it's very slight, I must pay much attention to the screen to see it.

Dont even worrie about burn in on anything other than a crt... they cant burn in; even then to burn a crt in would take maby a few days of displaying the same image. I got some lcd panels around here that basicly are only off 8 hours out of the day, they display photos and only change once every 24 hours; but they wont burn in... thats also why my computer doesnt use a screensaver, lol.

If you want specific workings on how CRT works, why CRT burns in; and why LCD's or pretty much anything that isnt a big fat tube cant burn in, check howstuffworks.com
