Hi,
I know i can use a *.wav file as a voice ring tone, but everytime i choose a *.wav file as a data ring tone, when i test sending an sms from someones phone it uses default ring tone in *.mid format. I see the wav file selected under data ring tone to use, but for some reaosn it doesnt use it.
Any ideas???

because ur using the wrong setting m8, an SMS
isn't a data call, as mentioned above, u need to goto tools/control panel/messaging accounts/alerts to change the SMS tone

Say if your using your phone as a modem, your making a data call, on P800 a dial up internet connection would be a data call.

The p800 is able to view pages thru wap and regular internet pages. Either you posted via the regular site or you didn't pick the p800 option on the wap/wml site.
