I've got a problem with the Alarm function in the calendar. I set my own alarm tone in the P800. But this alarm tone is only used by events that I enter directly to the phone. When I enter the Alarm-event in MS Outlook and do a sync. the phone's standard alarm is used. When I disable and then again enable the Alarm in the phone my personal alarm is used.
Another Alarm problem is that sometimes there is even no notification even the Alarm is set. (R2D Firmware).

But I have found a work around: after synchronisation you just have to enter the event in your P800 and tip on the alarm time and confirm it. After this action, the correct alarm tone is used. Further synchronisation doesn't displace this action.
But it isn't funny to correct all events to have the correct alarm tone.

I am having the same problem with my P800 as well. Right now, I'm trying to troubleshoot another problem, but also involves the alarm in the Tasks application. When I synchronize my phone with MS outlook (Tasks, in particular), the alarm doesn't go off on the phone. I'm not sure if this has been the case since I bought the phone (almost a month now), but it was only lately that I noticed that I'm only reminded by outlook and not the phone.
I had a T68i before but did not encounter this problem. The Tasks alarm always went off without a hitch.
Thoughts, anyone?
