it says "4mb complete memory", i believe that means not only the user-accesible memory, but the memory appart that one. this is contacts memory (independent from the dynamic memory), the firmware, etc.

but the dynamic memory (the important thing) is 2mb.

I noticed the small b in Mb too, if you read that "the right way" it says that you have 512KB.

b is for bit
B is for Byte.

The T68 and T68i both have 1 MB of memory. The T610 has 2 MB of memory. Nothing less and nothing more unfortunately.

Someday it whas, but recently it has changed.. Now both Mb and MB stand for MegaByte and MBit stands for MegaBit.

The 4MB is before they preload all of the software onto the phone. This is what they will say to people like Vodafone so that when they put Voda Live onto the phone, they know how it will end up before getting it.

It also has to store the data for when one does a hard reset, this has to be stored somewhere.
