> Caller ID withheld!!!

Hi,
firstly i would like to say they r lot of helpful ppl here who r out to help as ive been helped twice and wish to say to all 'thanx and keep up the good work':-)
then i was wondering. when i had my Nokia 7650 i was able to disable my number form appearing at the recievers end permanently and on any number i call. Now i can do it with the P800 but that is by dialing the code given to me by my service network before the number. Is there an option that permanently keeps ure ID withheld like a Nokia?
Cheers

At least on the T300 there is a way to disable caller id through the call handling network

There is one way at least.. But it's kinda lame. Enter the number with the flip closed. Then press the options key. There should be an option to hide your number.
This means that you cannot use your contact list to call directly. One way to not have to memorize the numbers is to copy the number from the contacts list with the flip-open and paste the number with the flip closed.

I double checked. There is no way to enable or disable permanently. Your network may have this option. Or else you can enter the disable code at the start of every number. This can be done faster on your word processor then resend to phone. You can pick and choose who you want to hide from.

When i tried what Coramoor suggested, the phone automatically added a #31# in front of the number that i dialled. So u could press #31# if u wanna hide ur no. , and *31# to show ur no.
