HI, just got a P800 and have 'synced' it, supposedly including my calendar activities.

Names and other contact details coms across fine, but, although it claims to sync the calendar, nothing appears on the phone for each day - any ideas? All help appreciated!

Thanks, benjiP.

I had this problem and dicovered by coincidence that MS outlook has to be set as the defult mail handeling program
or else it doesn't start sync for the calender and then when everything else finishes it just says finished without it actully doing anything

Thanks for your advice - I set Outlook as the default mail client - but still no improvement - sync's everything else, just not my diary - which is what I want it for!!

Grateful for any advice.

I had this problem and it goes resolved on its own :|

I don't like it when things get resolved on their own because then I don't know how to handle it if it happens again.

It's working now anyway

andreilopez, you can set outlook as your default mail client (for all the good that did me..) by right-clicking on the start button and choosing properties or customise or something - it's one of the options in there. Outlook will then appear along with Internet Explorer (or your default web browser) in your start menu... bon chance

Anyone else know how to solve this calendar business? This is why I bought the phone!!!!!

If everything else fails, go to the global support area of the SE website and download latest (released yesterday I think) version of sync software (v.1.5.1)... Supposedly they fixed a lot of bugs from previous releases... size approx. 37.7MB

Having said that, never had any problems with sync software release 1.4.2, both with R1D and R2D firmware...

well, for me the same problem on the p900. I tried all the stuff mentioned here (new PC Suite, standard mail client (wtf?), Automatic Outlook XP repair feature, etc.pp...)

kinda sucks big time.

Anybody any ideas? Otherwise I'll probably return this piece of crap and get a stack of paper + pencil instead
