Tom, once you are familiar with the operating system, you will find it just as easy as any phone to operate.

It takes a bit of getting used to but it works pretty well as a normal phone. The buttons with flip up are a bit spongey, but you get the hang of it ^_^ ~Eva This message was posted from a P800

one of the main reasons i would get this phone is to use it as an organiser, how useful is it? how do you guys find using it and carrying it about, cos im quite tempted to wait for a uk release on a t610, but if se are gonna keep putting it back then i will get a p800 in the next week or so, im just trying to find out how useful & practical it is befor i stump up a couple of hundred quid for it, so any help you guys can offer to a newbie would be very grateful.

I think the p800 is the best combination of a PDA and phone that you can buy. On occasions it can be hard to write a txt message one handed like on a normal phone and I am sure it does not have all the funcionality of a full Pocket PC but the fact that SE have combined both features into one device makes it cutting edge.

Sure it has it's little faults and quirks but doesn't every new device?

I have never owned a full pda and now that I have a p800 have found that it has become central in my life. It is never more than a few meters away from me, all my tasks are set to alarm to remind me of personal and work stuff, and they are all synced with my outlook on my pc and calendar functions on the p800. The games are far better than any mobile and great for a long train journey. As is mobi pocket reader, no more carrying around big books. I find I use the jotter to makes notes rather than using scraps of paper now, you can also doodle in meetings and look like you are taking notes

The video is great to show off to everyone with, the camera is not as good as it should be but maybe that will be fixed in later firmware updates. You can take a photo and it is decent quality. And what can i say about the mp3 player. Fantastic with oggplayer as long as you buy more memory....

Basically my p800 is indespensible to me now. 4 devices in one:

Phone
PDA
MP3
Gaming System

Hope this helps..........................
