Plantronics are releasing their M1500 bluetooth headset this summer.

http://www.plantronics.com

There's an adapter, like the ericsson one, so that non-bluetooth phones can use it as well.

And its got voice-dialling.

Price approx 2000 dk.kr.
Something like $ 230.

Hey Jan,
Can you use any Bluetooth headset with any Bluetooth phone. I would imagine that you can, but I'm just curious to know from someone who knows these things. Thanks

Hi

They all use the same bluetooth standard.

There might be some differences in the phone itself,..in the bluetooth-menu,..but it will work with any headset.

So yes, they should all work with each other.
We did try some out, and they worked fine.

It looks pretty cool with some nice options! That will make the new Nokia Bluetooth featured, right?

I once saw the official bluetooth handsfree set for T68 and T39, the one with the built in bluetooth chips in Hong Kong. They were around £50 each. They didn't come with adapters for non bluetooth phones. Thats why they were so cheap.

I didn't get one cos nobody ever rings me

I guess the Bluespoon and the Nokia headsets are the ones right now, that looks different. And in some way, also the HBH-20.

Philips is making one, that looks completely the same as the Plantronics,..must be working together, these two

I used to have a Plantronics headset for my 6210,..their soundquality is extremely good.

The Nokia is still the expensive one at approx $ 290,- (dk.kr.approx 2500,-).
