Anyone know where I can get a twin sim facility for my P 800?

There seem to be twin ghost sims for T68i etc but can't find one for P800

Anyone got any information? I'd like to use two sim cards in my P800 so I can have one line for business and the other personal.

I know you can get twin sim ghost adapters for the T68i - but can you get one for the P 800?

You can (unofisial of corse) make a duble sim this means that you will have one sim with two network numbers.
But you must find a store that does this job, you will give them your sims an (they will give it buck to you of corse) but they will give you an other one to with the numbers from the others inside.
I know that it is posible to add up to nine numbers in that sim.
The point is to find the store to do it usually hacking stores do things like that.

Thanks for the information Zendilar.

Where would I find one of these stores in London?

Must admit i'd prefer to do it officially - so if anyone knows of where I can get a twin ghost sim adapter for the P 800 i'd be grateful for information.

m8, until i get my t610, i just put the other sim on top of the other, and place the battery on top; then close. Ok, so you have to open, take off battery etc to change sims, but i only have to change them once in a day, after 6pm (free calls )
Hope this helps a little

In fact ANY twin sim will work in a p800, its just the fitting. for example i used an old nokia 8210 one on my p800 but its awkward to fit the battery cover back on, not found one thats made for the p800 yet though.the t68i ghost sim would work but the ribbon that joins the sim to the holder is at the wrong angle, i emailed the manufacturer but they wouldnt make me one with a longer tail.
That 9 on one sim thing is available an online shops (they sell the kit) but DOES NOT work on modern sims, only on sims upto around 2001 in UK.

Pachy, thanks for some useful information. So which twin sim adapter do you think I should go for for the P 800? Could you send a link for a manufacturer? Thanks

I tried a different way, by copying a SIM to another one so you’ll have two numbers on one SIM. (Need a programmer & special software).

@mr beeb, Well my experiments were just to see if a twin sim would work on a p800, And they work fine, but as i said as yet no twin sim holder on the market is physically suitable, the best i done was to get a cheap one, strip it down (the working holder part is often glued into a crapy false back for the phone it was designed for) so your left with basic parts, then i,m afraid its a case of finding a way to fix it, you can tape it to the outside of the back cover, but its a bit crap, best wait till they make one, if you ARE going to experiment then try a market stool phone parts seller that may have old cheap stock for Nokia 8210 & the like. then your not wasting too much.
