Hi.

I've purchased the program Handy Day in a Handy Essentials package and have a problem.

Handy Day only displays Calender activities for the current day. I want to be able to see maybe 5-7 days ahead. This is a major flaw with the program, I think!
Who buy's a P800 and a 45$ program to plan one day ahead...?

I've used a trial of Active Desk, which seems much more proffesional.
I just have a difficult time pursuading myself to pay for yet another Today-program!

I hope someone have a solution or maybe can redirect me to the right forum.

Thanks in advance!

I think you should have used the free evaluation version of handy day before you bought it or just used the normal calendar function already on the p800 where you can view the day week or month views.

Saying that, it would be nice to be able to select how many "days ahead" you would like the calendar view to be.

1 week would be nice for me ....

there's a new version of handy day on it's way - i'm sure if you mail the developers they'd try and incorporate the changes into the new version.

similarly, you might want to mail the developers of tracker as they are building a 'today' type screen and they seemed very keen to incorporate suggestions into their software.

i'm in the same boat as you - i like small parts of the functionality of handy day, active desk and tracker - waiting to see which is best at the next version before i buy ...

Do you realise that you can just use the jogdial to view days other than today? I find that this is more than sufficient for my needs as the days move forward (or backward) for each single click of the scroll wheel.

The scroll wheel technique also works with other products such as BugMe to scroll through your post-it notes. Excellent!

@kmanowitch

The latest version currently being beta tested by registered users now has a week view plus other benfits.

This programme is always getting better with constant updates.

Latest ver. is 2.7

Robser: If you have registered Handy Day with them, then you should have recieved an email with a link to download the beta version of handy day 2.7, the one listed on the site at the moment is 2.5. I have the link on my home computer, I will fetch it out for you if you want. However they did say that the new version will be availiable in the next 2-3 days, I got the email on thursday so it should be soon!
